Family Day with the Dinosaurs

Today we took the kids to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point.  Ian loves going there. I have taken him a few times before but it was Jared and Maggie's first time at the museum. It is actually a fun place to go and kill a few hours.  Ian's favorite part is playing in the sand and water area, he could play for hours. I thought he might not like because he usually freaks out when his hands are dirty but I was wrong. He also really likes the digging area. We don't stay long there and he cries but if he would just figure out that he just didn't throw the sand we would stay longer.

Afterwards we headed up to the Fashion Place Mall in Murray to eat at our favorite restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory, to celebrate Valentine's Day a little early. We had to wait an hour but that ended up not being long compared to the people who were arriving as we were leaving, their wait was 3 1/2 hours. We enjoyed our meal, well enjoyed it as much as we could having 2 little ones with us. We had a fun day spending time as a family and got to eat cheesecake, what more could we ask for?
