Lagoon

Every year Jared's work offers a "Summer Family Party" and this year it was held at Lagoon (it usually is). The kids were more than excited to go. They could hardly contain themselves. But after a horrific car ride up there (took us 40 min to get from Orem to American Fork) fun was had by all.

Nu Skin was nice and provided dinner for everyone. After dinner we headed off for some rides. With having a 6 year old, 4 year old, and 10 month old this meant we spent most of our time in the kiddie area. However some BIG roller coasters were ridden by Mr. Smarty Pants and Sassafrass. After bribing, coaxing, and just plain dragging them on they both have decided that they still don't roller coasters and say that they will NEVER EVER go on one again!!!!! ~ they shouldn't complain too much cause they both $5 out of the situation.

She can hardly contain her excitement

Don't they look just thrilled?
This ride was a MUST do....more than once
Don't know why cause it's not like they get to actually drive the car

The verdict on this ride? ...... 2 thumbs up!!!!

and this is how he feels about his sister

and once again Sweets was stuck in here, poor thing
She did get to go on 2 rides....the carousel which she LOVED and wouldn't stop clapping, squealing, and petting the horse she rode, and the train ride
overall she did pretty well considering she was up 3 hours past her bedtime

We had a blast. It was great to see the kids having so much fun. They didn't want to leave.
All 3 were zonked out about 10 minutes into the car ride home.
It took FOREVER to get home because of another accident and STUPID road construction.
We eventually made it home almost 2 hours later and finally got to bed.

I love the dresses that you made for your girls, especially Sassafrass'. (I love the new names too.) I need to get the pattern number from you. I've been looking for a simple and cute dress for Sunshine.

I also think that picture of Sweets at 10 months is absolutely adorable!!
