No More Monkey's Jumping on the Bed!!!

We were able to bring back one half of a bunk bed set from California. Jared set it up in Ian's room and he was soooo excited to have a new BIG big boy bed. We brought him up to his room to show it to him and as any almost 3 year old would do he climbed up on it and started jumping. We were telling him not to jump but of course he wouldn't listen and he jumped a little too hard, lost his balance and SMACK his chin landed on the head board railing. He started wailing. Neither Jared or I deal with blood very well so we were telling the other to look how bad it was. We saw blood coming out of his mouth so I held Ian and Jared went to get a wet washcloth. Poor little Ian was crying and some how he managed to get out "I'm OK mom, I'm OK!" We got him to suck on the washcloth and got a good look in his mouth. It wasn't too bad but now he has a very nice BIG FAT LIP (that will just look great in our Christmas pictures). Now he says "We don't jump on my bed do we mommy?" Hopefully he has learned his lesson and this won't happen again. We are just waiting for the day when he has to get stitches or breaks a bone. Hopefully that will never happen.
