someone at our house recently had a birthday

 

lucky for him he had the day off due to a holiday

 

we didn't do much

 

just had cupcakes, opened presents and played the new game he got for his birthday with his sister

 

not only did he get a new game (aquire) but the older kids got to go the dollar store

and each pick out 2 things for dad (an idea i got from my friend rachel)

 

Mr . Smartypants thought long and hard and picked out some neeedlenose pliers

 and football shaped waterbottle so "dad could drink some water while watching football"

 

Sassafrass picked out a watch (which broke upon opening it)

and some lovely Angry Birds hand sanitizer

 

the kids were more than thrilled to give dad their presents

and Jared was more than thrilled to get them!!
