Sweets: 16 Months

Today Sweets is 16 months and you know what that means?

In just 2 short months she gets to go to nursery.....oh happy day!!!!

Here is a rundown about Sweets at 16 months

 

She is very stubborn. She won't do anything unless she wants to.

She does things on her own terms.

 

She LOVES her daddy. If he's home she usually wants nothing to do with me.

 

She finally said her first word: DAD.

She loves to play in her brother and sister's room....and they HATE it!!!

 

She also loves to empty out every drawer, cupboard, and shelf that she can get to.

 

She has mastered the "baby locks" we have on the cupboard doors.

 

 

She still loves to climb up on the table and couch.

We have just learned that in order to keep her off the kitchen table

we just put all the chairs up on top of it when they are not being used.

 

She weighs about 25lbs and wears size 5 diapers.

 

She hates getting her diaper changed and will run away from

you when she knows that is what you are going to do.

She has added a two new signs to her communication.....PLEASE and EAT.

 

 Thanks to dad she loves to have a few sips of Diet Mt. Dew every night.

 

She loves animals and squeals whenever she sees them.

 

She's got some great dance moves.

(I tried to uplaod a video of her dancing but it wouldn't work)

She loves music and singing.

(her version of singing is actually quite funny since she doesn't talk

and just makes loud noises, those around us at church laugh)

 

The only tv show that keep her interest for more than 5 minutes is Baby Einsteins.

I wouldn't survive making dinner if I didn't have those dvds.

 

This girl is growing up fast and according to Mr. Smarty-Pants and Sassafrass

Sweets is the funniest baby around!!!!
