Christmas with the Buchanan's

On Christmas Eve we sang some Christmas songs and tried to tell the kids the story of Jesus' birth. They really didn't pay much attention because they REALLY wanted to unwrap some presents......

They first opened their new ornament for the year. We try to get ornaments that represent something that the kids are into that year so Maggie got a Cinderella ornament and Ian got a

R2D2 Ornament.....he is really getting into Star Wars lately but don't worry he still like Pokemon

then the kids got their new jammies
and then got to unwrap the presents they got for each other

Maggie got a little Snap n Style Puppy from Ian

Ian got a Star Wars Storm Trooper and Dewbac from Maggie

then the kids had to go to bed so Santa could come & look what he brought.....

Look at Ian's excitement
here are some pics to highlight the morning

The kids got new Magna Doodles

Maggie got a "PINANO"

Ian got the movie "Monsters vs. Aliens"....just what he wanted

oh and I had to include a picture of the "Plethora"(as Jared says) amounts of play food I made for the kids. This was a real HIT.....the kids LOVE the food, guess all the hard work payed off

I didn't get any pictures of Jared and I unwrapping our presents but Jared got me a Cricut Expressions. I have been wanting one for awhile and now can't wait to start on some projects.

Jared got some basketball tickets to go see the Dallas Mavericks when they come to play the Jazz.

The day after Christmas we headed down to Jared's mom's house for the day. Barbara and Kent got a Wii for Christmas so we brought our Band Hero stuff and had ourselves a little jam session. They had a game called "Just Dance" which I think is my new favorite game and now I want it. We sure had a lot of laughs watching each other dance.

Here is Maggie trying to get her groove on doing some Dance Dance Revolution

We had a great Christmas and hope all of you did too!!!!
