Ours was very good. It all started on Thursday when we went swimming at our friend's pool. It was VERY VERY HOT so it was nice to take a dip in the cool refreshing pool. The kids love swimming, even little Maggie. She absolutely loves being in the water. We got her a little floaty and she just kept trying to climb out of it because she wanted in the water. Ian is getting used to being in the water, thanks to swimming lessons. Ian however likes to stay in his floaty and not get out.

Yesterday (the 4th) we went and had a BBQ with our friends the Fowler's. We always have fun when we are with them. We had some good eats...good laughs....good fireworks....and some good games. We have played games with them for about 4 years now and things have gotten a little competitive. We played my favorite game, Time's Up and then we played a little Five Crowns. Jared also got some fireworks, I don't know what it is about men and wanting to set off fireworks but the kids really enjoyed them. What a great day we had!!! Thanks for all the fun!!!

I'm surprised that Jared went swimming too. It looks like you guys had a lot of fun and your 4th of July also sounded like fun.
