Back in September Ian thought that he needed to play with daddy's big Mag Lite Flashlight. He was walking around with it and oops he dropped it right on his foot. He screamed and I ran to him as fast as I could. His right big toe immediately started to turn purple. He of coursed freaked out and from that moment he always had to wear socks, for some reason a sock made it feel better. If he wasn't wearing a sock he would start limping and saying that his toe hurt but as soon as he had socks on it was like a miracle and he wouldn't walk with a limp and he would say that it didn't hurt anymore.
Well 4 months has past and for the past couple of days the toenail started to lift and finally in the tub tonight it fell off. Of course Ian freaked out once again when he saw it in the tub and wanted out immediately. Now he won't let us touch his toe and the socks had to go back on. Who knew that it would take this long to heal, now how long will it take before a new nail grows in???

I didn't know about the Maglite incident. The poor little guy. At least the sock fixed it. He is such a cute kid.
