An Uneventful Weekend

What a long weekend this has been. It all started off on Friday...Jared stayed home from work to help me out with the sick kids. I was so excited to leave and go some where...the bank, how exciting huh?  Ian's flu seemed to be getting worse so we decided that the apple juice he was drinking was not the best thing for him, he needed some Gatorade. Jared and I briefly argued about who go to go to Albertson's to get the Gatorade. We both wanted to leave for a few minutes and since I already got to leave to go to the bank, as Jared nicely pointed out he won the argument and went to the store. We ended up putting the kids to bed and watching The Nanny Diaries which we rented a week ago and finally got around to watching it.

Saturday wasn't much better. I got some laundry done, read a little (I am trying to get through Twilight), and watched TV.  Maggie decided that she was just not going to nap for more than 30 minutes which was not fun for me. Jared and Ian took a quick trip to Costco to use up the rest of our Holiday gift card from Nu Skin. They came home with pizza and soda for dinner - YUM!!

Today was just as uneventful as ever.  Maggie was up at 5:30 this morning and didn't go back to sleep until 7:00 and by then Ian was up so no going back to sleep for me. As our attempt to keep our kids from getting any sicker we opted to stay home from church yet another week. This made for another very long day. We tried to keep ourselves busy by me looking through the Sunday Ads and cutting out the coupons. Ian watched a lot of Thomas and did his sticker book, Jared watched football and put together his Legos he wants to sell, and Maggie was actually better today and took 2 really good naps.

Well there you have it...our uneventful weekend. Hopefully the kids will get better soon and Jared and I can go out on a date....ALONE!!!!!
