Annual Family Christmas Party

Every year Jared's Aunt Colleen and Uncle Eldie host a Christmas Party for all the family in the area. This year it was held yesterday (Saturday). Jared was unable to attend because of his part time job which is working at Toys R Us from 10pm to 6am on Friday and Saturday nights. I decided to go with the kids. Jared's aunt and uncle always prepare a wonderful lunch for us. We sit around and chat and catch up with people there who we haven't seen since the party the year before. It's kinda sad how close we live to family and only see them once a year at the Christmas party. Aunt Colleen and Uncle Eldie always get fun little gifts for everyone. The best part is reading the poem Aunt Colleen wrote for you on the package. She is quite clever. Here is an example: Ian received a little toy car with this attached to it -
Ian, he loves cars, he runs them vroom, vrooom, vroom
And with his train he plays, all over the living room.
We always have so much fun at these parties and look forward to them every year!!

By the way, this is really Bonnie. I didn't realize until just now that Matt is the one who is actually logged in right now. Whoops.

Yay for Christmas parties. i agree...we rarely see extended family. Weddings, funerals, and reunions.
