A Visit With Friends

Me and the kids decided to go to California while Jared was going to a Convention in LA for work.

On our way to California we stopped in Henderson NV to visit with our friends the Park's. They use to live next door to us for a few years. They have recently moved to Nevada so on our way through they graciously let us stay with them. The kids had so much fun playing together. Ian and Ema re the same age and Winston and Maggie are the same age. Rachel and Mike were so nice to let us stay with them even though my kids got sick. The day after we got there Ian came down with a fever and couldn't shake it. After much debating I decided to take him to an Urgent Care and it turned out that he had a double ear infection. Ian and Maggie both came down with colds as well. I think a lot had to do with the weather change. It was very cold when we left home and when we got to Henderson it was nice and warm.

All in all we had a great visit with them. It was nice staying up late and chatting with Rachel. I really miss talking with her. We miss them so much so it was nice to be able to spend a few days with them.
