So my Grandparents were able to come and visit us yesterday. We had a very nice day with them. It was nice to just sit and chat and catch up. We also took a trip to Costco for lunch, gotta love the hot dogs and pizza. Ian loved his Grandpa Bill (that is what he called him and yes his name really is Bill). I was also able to beautify my Grandma with a killer new hairdo and Grandpa got a trim as well. They were to generous and took us out to dinner. We also pulled out the air mattress out for them and they crashed on our family room floor for the night. When Maggie woke us up at 7:30 this morning they were already gone. I hope they slept OK and didn't have leave TOO early because they couldn't sleep!! Oh wait my grandpa can sleep anywhere, it's an amazing trick he does....he can just say he is tired and not even a second later he is already asleep!! We loved it as kids and thought it was pretty funny!

They also brought my kids Mardi Gras Beads. My grandpa grew up in New Orleans so they visit there and always bring back beads from the parades. We loved the necklaces growing up..it is one of our grandparents trademark. Now my kids can enjoy the beads and they sure do!!
